You will write a paper on one of the topics provided. The reports will include the following: both common and scientific terms, description of the organism, and any other interesting facts. Each paper must be at least 2000 words long, typed (one inch margins and double spaced). Spelling and grammar will count. You must have a title page and at least four references other than your textbook. Your paper will be due on 4 March 2010. You must turn in copies of your  INTERNET references. You do not need to turn in copies of books or periodicals you choose to use. The paper will be worth fifty points.

STUDENTS WHO DO NOT COMPLETE THEIR PAPER WILL NOT RECEIVE A GRADE HIGHER THAN 1.0. NO EXCEPTIONS!
 
PAPERS MUST BE TURNED IN ON TIME OR NO POINTS WILL BE AWARDED !

TOMORROW 5 JANUARY 1010 YOU WILL NOT COME TO CLASS, INSTEAD YOU WILL BE FREE TO DO RESEARCH ON THE LIST OF TOPICS PROVIDED TO YOU.  YOU MAY DO THIS AT ANY OF THE CAMPUS COMPUTER LABS, THE LIBRARY OR AT HOME.  WE WILL BE CHOOSING TOPICS ON 7 JANUARY 1010.  YOU CAN FIND ME HERE IN THE CLASSROOM DURING THE CLASS PERIOD TO ASSIST YOU, IF YOU NEED.
